High School Daniel Hand:
2023 State Champion 22-0-1 and only allowed four goals against all season, including a 23-save overtime win shutout against New Canaan in the state final. I have been a field hockey goalie since my freshman year at DHHS and was the starting varsity goalie for my Junior and Senior years. I played every game in its entirety except for 2 periods when we had a substantial lead.
Currently working at Amity Physical Therapy when not in school.
I have been an academic scholar since a very early age. I enjoy learning and applying my knowledge to help solve problems. I enjoy ballet dancing and playing the piano when I am not studying. I have been accepted and am attending Columbia University's Fu School of Engineering, where I am studying Applied Mathematics and Economics. My dream is to work in NYC at a financial institution.
